Oh yes you can (make your pantomime more sustainable)!
We theatre folk love to spend the summer months planning a Christmas show. They are often a venue's biggest show of the year, with audience expectations of large-scale, high production values, glitter, merchandise, and a never-ending stream of costume changes.
However, pantomimes and Christmas shows also hold a lot of potential for a theatre teams and freelance collaborators to think sustainably. As we circulate a fairly small number of titles, there can be lots of opportunity for set and costume re-use, for example.
Christmas time is a time for goodwill: to share good news stories on sustainability with your audience, and get performing companies involved in thinking about a greener, more positive future.
So if you're dreaming of a Green Christmas this summer, join us on
Tue 23 July 2-3pm for a free webinar.
Guest speakers will share inspiring sustainable panto case studies and we'll being you more tips and tricks from venues who have made their Christmas season greener.
